Why We Started Ledger Horizon
Ledger Horizon Education Ltd was founded in 2023 by a group of technologists and educators who recognised a gap in publicly available educational content about blockchain technology. Much of what existed online was either highly technical documentation aimed at developers, or promotional material tied to specific projects and products.
We set out to create something different: an independent resource that explains the mechanics, history and implications of distributed ledger technology in plain language. Our content is written for curious readers, students, researchers and professionals who want to understand how these systems work without being steered toward any particular conclusion.
